Kanata-March Horticultural Society

The Kanata-March Horticultural Society was established in 1970. Year 2000 was our 30th anniversary. We now have a membership of about 100 amateur and professional gardeners from Kanata (Ottawa). It is part of District #2  of the Ontario Horticultural Association,a province-wide organization of some 44,000 members.

KMHS maintains a number of gardens in the City of Kanata, including the Molly Wilson Garden at the South March Old Town Hall on March Road, Tom Thompson Park. In the Beaverbrook area of Kanata and a small garden at the Hazeldean Library. The Society holds regular meetings at the Old March Town Hall on March Road in Kanata on the first Tuesday of every month from September to June. At each meeting we have a speaker who presents a topic of Horticultural interest (see Events Calendar). Often the speakers provide superb slide shows as part of their presentations. KMHS also holds an annual Plant Sale in May as well as other events. click here.

The Kanata-March Horticultural Society acknowledges, with gratitude, the financial support it receives through grants from the City of Ottawa and the Ontario Horticultural Association.
