JUNE FLOWER SHOW
First and foremost, by holding what we believe is the first flower show to be held by the KMHS in a very long time, is to have fun.
By participating in the flower show, you can share those glorious blooms
from your garden with fellow members. Let’s see what all those green thumbs
can produce! Enjoy those long, cold wintery evenings by planning for the
growing season to come.
We can find new and interesting floral design techniques not only for show
presentation but for our own home enjoyment.
Even though our June meeting is early in the growing season, we can’t forget the blooms of roses, peonies, iris, flowering shrubs, rhubarb and indoor plants such as succulents and orchids. The list is endless and limited only by your imagination.
Please take the challenge, have some fun and learn something along the way.
We have the services of a local OHA certified judge, Gay MacQuarrie to judge
and guide us through the process.
